TTCU Federal Credit Union broke ground recently on a new branch at its midtown Tulsa location on 31st between Louisville and New Haven Ave. The new branch will replace the aging building currently on-site with a modern structure designed to meet the needs of today’s members. The existing building will be demolished after the new branch is complete so member service will be uninterrupted throughout the construction.
“The midtown branch has been our flagship location for many years, with the oldest portions of the building dating back to the 1960’s,” President and CEO Tim Lyons said. “However, the dated building no longer meets current needs or building standards. We are excited about building a contemporary branch to improve our members’ experience.”
The planned 9,000 square foot branch will have an open floor plan with and feature wood finishes and natural light for a timeless feel. The branch will include traditional features, such as a walk-in vault for safe deposit boxes as well as a private viewing room for members accessing their boxes but will also have modern touches. Members will have access to a comfortable lobby with a coffee bar, a book-sharing area and state-of-the-art technology throughout. As many companies are moving to a hybrid or remote-style of work for their employees, the branch will also include space for TTCU members to work remotely from TTCU’s hoteling spaces.
“This branch will offer a warm and welcoming aesthetic to make members feel like they are in their home away from home,” Vice President of Construction Management Cindi Owens said.
Construction on the new building is expected to be complete in summer 2023
