Small town feel at Bixby branch

Richard S. feels like he's part of the family when he enters the Bixby branch. Not only does he know all the staff, they have his account pulled up before he even steps up to the counter. Many times he knows all the other members in the branch as well. It's his financial home away from home.
"Back when I joined TTCU, they didn't have a branch here. I graduated from Broken Arrow High School in 1986, and I went to the TTCU Midtown location to get my account all set up before I went off to Northeastern State University. I originally planned on being a teacher, but ended up going in a different direction.
I landed in sales, and I'm a busy guy. The number one thing I look for is a financial institution that doesn't waste your time. My wife and I moved to Bixby, and as soon as TTCU opened up a branch here in 2009, we became members. It really has a small town feel. Everyone knows my name when I come in the door. It's like we're best friends, and we even have each other's numbers. They also have taken the time to get to know me and give ideas to save me money. They've helped me with balance transfers on a credit card and several auto loans.
Now they help my boys with their accounts. We signed up when they went off to college. Before, I was their bank. Now they can use the account to pay their bills, but I can still check on it. It's a way for me to give them some freedom while still making sure that everything is taken care of. They think they're grown up, but I still have the strings attached. The Bixby branch staff helped me figure out how to get it all set up. My sons are in their fifth year and third year at OU. The oldest is in computer science and the youngest is going into industrial engineering. TTCU makes it easy for me to help them manage their checking and savings accounts."
